CHANGE OF NAME

New Zealand Alliance PA WELLINGTON, July 20. The name of the New Zealand Alliance organisation was changed to New Zealand Alliance and Temperance Education at the annual meeting yesterday. Sixty delegates from variout parts of New Zealand attended. More health and fruit drinks were advocated, and the Government is to be urged to devote the output of the Te Kauwhata vineyards to the production of health drinks. Officers 'elected were:—President, Mr F. A. de la Mare (Hamilton); vice-presidents, the Rev. F. W. Winton, Mr F. C. Spratt; executive chairman, the Rev. G. H. Goodman.
