George Medal For Courageous Pilot
NZPA—Copyright Rec. 9.50 p.m. LONDON, May 16. Captain lan Richard Harvey, D.F.C., of Pinner, Middlesex, pilot of the Viking dirliner which, with 27 passengers, he brought safely back to Northolt after a mid-air explosion on April 13 had caused extensive damage to the controls, has been awarded the George Medal.
