Sister Grace Hall (Timaru) was appointed a sister at the Oamaru Public Hospital, and Miss Carrad a staff nurse. The matron, Mrs Chambers, was congratulated on her election to the executive of the Registered Nurses’ Association and was granted leave of absence to attend executive meetings during her two years’ period in office.
