FLOWER SHOW
A bring-and-buy sale and flower show organised by the Sports Queen Committee in the north end queen carnival on Saturday resulted in a large sum being collected considering the counter-attractions and the wet weather. A curio display staged by Mrs Butler included several articles lent by the Chinese community.
