PROPOSED MASS MEETING
Sir, —I note that delegate.s to the Otago Trades Council decided to hold a mass meeting on the Oval next Sunday. I ask them respectfully to pause to consider the matter again. Why should this meeting be held on Sunday? Many people who are in sympathy with the Trades Council, in their object in holding the meeting, are yet strongly opposed to doing so on the Lord’s Day.—l am, etc.. Full Stop.
