Stand Seats For Big Match ONLY A FEW LEFT Cheers from a long queue of Rugby enthusiasts greeted the arrival at 6.45 yesterday morning of the staff at the booking office at Begg’s handling stand tickets for Saturday’s game at Carisbrook between the British team and Otago. , , . , Some of those in the queue, which extended to the Octagon, had been there all night, but the great majority had evidently tempered their enthusiasm with sleep as they did not come until the early morning. Much larger queues have been seen in Dunedin and generally, there was not the expected rush for tickets. Perhaps, many people were awaiting the first test the following Saturday. „ „ Only four seats were allowed each person, but the sales went on steadily and within about two hours and a-half of the opening there were only about 200 seats left in the stand. When the booking office closed in the evening there were only 26 remaining and these were in the far corner. There were, however, many seats in front of the stand and also fence seats at 7s 6d.
