INTEREST MAINTAINED
Green Island Competitions Although the Green Island competitions are drawing to a close, interest has been maintained by the public and last night there was once again a good attendance. The judging will conclude tonight and a demonstration concert, in which all the winners of the various classes will take part, will be presented on Thursday evening. Results:— Piano Solo (13 to 16 years).—N. Townley 2. Piano Solo (16 to 18 years).—W. Devine 2. Action Song in Character (under 10).—V. Houghton 1, J. Smellie 2, A. Finnie 3, C. Burns h.c., A.
