ATOMIC WEAPONS BAN
Moscow Newspaper Supports Appeal NZPA— Copyright Rec. 7 p.m. MOSCOW, May 14. The newspaper Izvestia today supported the appeal for a ban on atomic weapons made by the International Committee of the Red Cross. “ The peoples of the whole world know well that any measure directed at the prohibition of atomic weapons will always find Russian support,” said the paper. “Russia demanded unconditional prohibition and the establishment of a strict international control when Russia did not have the atomic weapon. Russia stands for the same terms now it has these weapons.’’
