Electricity Consumption Although the consumption of electricity in the Waitaki Electric Power Board’s district was 26,190 units below that of the previous week, when consumption was 0.34 per cent, under the allocation, the consumption last week was 7.9 per cent, above the allocation. As from the beginning of last week, a further 12J per cent, saving on last year’s consumption was called for, but the saving effected was less than 5 per cent. The allocation last week was 502,635 units, compared with 570,600 units in the previous week. The consumption was 542.280 units—39,64s in excess. This week the allocation is 505,942 units.
