PEDESTRIAN KILLED
PA AUCKLAND, May 14. A pedestrian was killed when he was knocked over by a taxi in the Great North road on Saturday night. He was David O’Donnell, aged 57, single, a barman, who lived at Waterview. The accident occurred shortly before 7.30 p.m. O’Donnell had just alighted from an outward-bound bus and was about to cross the Great North road when he was knocked down.
