Teachers’ Proposals PA WELLINGTON, May 12. A draft of a new salary scale for teachers was approved last night by the annual conference of the New Zealand Technical School Teachers’ Association. The association is proposing a
minimum commencing salary for a fully-trained married male teacher of £430, compared with £3£7 at present. It is understood that the association is engaged in discussions with the other two teacher organisations with a view to making a joint claim for a new salary scheme to the Government Service Tribunal.
