Green Island Competitions There was a fair attendance at the Green Island Competitions Society’s festival last night, the chairman being Mr D. ". McMullan. The judge, Mr James Clark, the singing as the best he had teard at the festival so far. Results:— Sacred Solo (10 and under 13).—MyrajOu Jory 1. Yvonne Connor 2, Karen 'impson> 3. Vocal Duet.—Eleven and under 14: Gayior Wilson and Corinne Conley I. Fourteen and under 17: Denise Peterson and Lenore Potbury 1. National Song.—Thirteen and under 15: Alison Ferguson 1, George Tyler 2, Faye Wright 3. Sixteen and under 20: Nola McMullan 1. Betty Kennedy 2, Valma Dale
