Young Farmers’ Contest PA PALMERSTON N., May 11. The national young farmers’ clubs’ stock judging at Massey College resulted: —Manawatu 1308 points, South Taranaki 1250 points, Wairarapa 1175 points. Fourteen other teams which competed came from Waikato, Gisborne, the King Country, Hawke’s Bay, Canterbury and Otago. The Henson Shield for the highest aggregate in the three sheep classes was won by South Taranaki with 467 points. Wairarapa, 426 points, and Gisborne-East Coast, 417 points, were next.
