WATERSIDERS’ ATTITUDE

All instructions given by the national officers of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union in connection -with the organisation of a one-day demonstration throughout the Dominion proposed by the recent mass meeting at Hillside will be carried out by members of the Dunedin branch of the union. This was decided at the monthly stop-work meeting of tne Dunedin branch held yesterday, and a resolution carried to this -effect also stated that the instructions of the national officers would be carried out m “ f When the time arrives, a decision will doubtless be made,” said the secretary, of the Port Chalmers branch Mr J Bain, when the resolution of the Dunedin branch was referred to him yesterday by the Daily Times.
