REPORT DENIED BY MR HOLLAND
PA WELLINGTON. May 11. The Prime Minister, Mr Holland, denied this evening having been in communication with the vice-president of the New Zealand Master Grocers’ Federation. Mr N. S. Mackie, about the removal of price control from grocery lines. “I am reported in a message from Auckland as having told Mr Mackie that price control is to be lifted from all but 20 grocery lines,” said Mr Holland. “I can only say I have not as much as spoken to Mr Mackie.”
