Proposals To Be Studied PA WELLINGTON, May 11. The Prime Minister, Mr Holland, has “undertaken to study” specific proposals on wage claims put to him yesterday by representatives of the State service organisations including teachers, employees of the post and Telegraph Department, and public servants. This was stated tonight by, Mr J. Turnbull, secretary of the Combined State Services Central Committee when commenting on the meeting with Mr Holland and other. Ministers. Mr Turnbull said salaries were discussed, particularly’ claims covering the period from 1947 to April, 1949.
