Society Of Women Musicians
At the monthly meeting of the Society of Women Musicians of Otago, held on Monday evening last. Miss Mary Martin, who has lately returned from overseas, gave a talk on ” Music in England.” This was followed by piano solos by Mrs C. H Westland (Ballade in A Flat, Chopin), and ’Juba” (Dett), and a group of songs bv Hageman sung by Miss Patricia Thorn. 'Mrs 11. G. Woolman proposed a vote of thanks to Miss Martin and the performers. The president, Mrs L. Beaumont, was in the chair.
