Rear Light Selected To Race Prominently TIBERIUS IN PLUNKET STAKES By the Sporting Editor The last trotting meeting for the season in the Otago district will be held at Oamaru tomorrow, and it should draw a large attendance. Fresh horses are included in all the fields, and consequently calculations based on last Saturday’s form may be upset. The first leg of the double is the, Plunket Stakes, a race confined to three-year-olds, and the second leg is the Captain Sandy Handicap, for which there is a good field of 20 improvers. The going will probably be similar to that of last Saturday. The following are selected to race prominently:— 11.30 : Welcome Handicap, No. I. —Terrace Lass, Main Force, Swithindale. 12.15 : Introductory Handicap.— Rear Light, Ingenuity, Harvard. 1. 0 : Plunket Stakes. —Tiberius, Te Maru, Van Dieman. . 1.45 : Bruce Memorial Handicap. —Lochinvar, Tactician, Final Return bracket. 2.30 : Welcome Handicap, No. 2.—Penno’s Pride bracket, Imperial Lord, Gallant Satin bracket. 3.15 : Ascot Vale Handicap. —Rear Light, Jenny Dillon bracket, Daredevil. 4. 0 : Captain Sandy Handicap, —Hemisphere, Emblazon, Desert Flight. 4.50 : Enfield Handicap.— Son’s Gift, Queen of Scots, Ascot—Scottish Nurse bracket.
