“DIGGERS' SHOW”
L/l W VI IV TT Sir,—Whatever has happened to the once popular Diggers’ Session at 4ZB? There appears to be no organisation about it in its present form. I am led to believe that those who have In me past handled the session received no remuneration for their services, and were not oven classed as members of the 4ZB staff. There is no doubting it; they made a really good session of interest to all diggers. Surely the station manager can engage a digger to run the Diggers’ Show. There must be at least some who would go along and take charge of the session and make a job of it.—l am, etc., Diggers Only. [Mr D. Sheard, station manager of 4ZB, said that previous Digger comperes had been paid. A member of the station staff was putting much work and thought into the Diggers’ Session.—Ed. ODT.]
