Children In Commercial Broadcasting REFERRED TO MINISTER PA AUCKLAND, May 10. The first conference of the New Zealand Secondary Schools’ Association to be held in Auckland opened this morning when about 150 delegates attended. The association unanimously reaffirmed its former decision to amalgamate with the New Zealand Technical School Teachers’ Association. A resolution expressing disapproval of “ exploitation of children in the interests of commercial broadcasting ” was passed 'by the association. It will forward its disapproval to the Minister concerned. “I hope by this we can persuade Mrs Ross to put the blue pencil through the ‘ quiz kids,’ ” said the president. Mr E. J. Aim. The following officers were elected: President, Mr A. M. Nicholson (Tauranga College); vice-presidents, Messrs E. J. Aim (Otago Boys’ High School) and E. W.
