BAFFLES GELDING
After a short spell, the hardy Baffles gelding, Conspiracy, is to resume racing in the six-furlong Maeroa Handicap at Te Rapa on Saturday. ' Conspiracy has shown his best form on easy tracks and has recorded some outstanding performances under big weights. A good stayer, he will probably be seen out at the Auckland meeting next month, where he is engaged in the Cornwall Handicap. An eight-year-old gelding, he seems to have retained most of his former dash, but it is unlikely that he will improve much. He should, however, continue to nay his wav. His dam, Prickles, is also the dam of Hulabaloo and a good-class hurdler m Bramble Song.
