Death Of Mrs M. B. Woodward PA TIMARU, May 10. News of the death of Mrs Mary Bray Woodward, of the Sailors’ Rest, Timaru, will be received with regret by countless seamen both in New Zealand and overseas
Known affectionately as “Mum” to members of the crews of freighters that have berthed at Timaru, Mrs Woodward had been in charge of the Sailors’ Rest for the last 32 years. She died there yesterday after a brief illness.
