Petrol Rationing In Dominion PA INVERCARGILL, May 9.. Stating that petrol rationing here m New Zealand was almost Gilbertian, Mr I. V. Wilson, president of the Southland Automobile Association, ex-j, pressed the opinion at a meeting of the association’s General Committee last night that it was high time rationing was abolished. Rationing - employed a large number of people throughout the country who would be ' much more usefully employed in some other way. * . . , , “ There is hardly a motorist who has not an extra coupon, or who does know where he can get one,” Wilson. “If rationing were abolislrfd I do not think any more petrol would be used than is used at present.
