Mr Nash To Discuss Finances Of Country At Dunedin Meeting

A reply to the recent financial statement by the Prime Minister, Mr Holland, will be made by Mr W. Nash, M.P., at a public meeting in the Main Town Hall on May 30. Mr ,Nash hopes at this meeting to take the opportunity also of replying to the Prime Minister on the question of the cuts in State subsidies.

Mr R. A. Hill, president of the Otago Labour Representation Committee, who gave this information to the Daily Times, said that the public meeting had ben arranged primarily to allow Mr Nash to expound his views on financial matters, which he hkd been refused permission to do at the recent annual meeting of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.
