INDOOR BASKETBALL
With the idea of setting up men’s and women’s indoor basketball clubs in Oamaru and extending the scheme to outlying parts, Mr T. Allen, an officer of the Physical Welfare Department, is at present visiting Oamaru. It is his intention to approach mercantile firms to ascertain if they would sponsor teams. If sufficient support is forthcoming, an association or sub-association will be formed.
