OBJECTS OF THE ISSUE: The objects for which the Company Is being established are to acquire all the shares In ,1. Gadsden A Co. Ltd., and to carry on the general business of J. Gadsden & Co. Ltd., Tin Canster Manufacturers. Tin Plate Printers, Calico and Jute Bag Manufacturers, etc. HISTORY OF BUSINESS: - J. Gadsden & Company Limited, which Is a subsidiary of the large Australian company of that, name, has carried on business in New Zealand for over 30 years and owns and operates factories in the four main centres. The Australian venders will be Investing £30.000 in ordinary shares in the new Company and will continue their present valuable association. PROFITS: The average “tax-paid” profits of J. Gadsden & Co. Ltd. for the last three years were £22,454 and the last year’s "tax-paid" profit was £28,823. The credit in the Profit and Loss Appropriation Account is £154.030.# The financial year ends on the 30th June, and turnover Tor the six months ended 30/12/40 exceeds that for the same period of the previous year.
