Capping Book Sold Out The annual Capping Book found a ready sale when about 15,000 copies were offered in the city and suburbs yesterday morning by crazily-dressed students. An hour after the first numbers were sent out from the students ‘depot in Moray place at 8.30, not a copy could be obtained on the city streets Port Chalmers absorbed a total of 375, although there was only one ship in port. . „ ... Opinions varied as to the relative merit of this year’s book compared with that published last year. Some maintained that last year’s effort was superior: others averred equally stoutly that this year’s publication was the better. Obviously all enjoyed its perusal. The proceeds of the sale will • be devoted to the funds of the University Students’ Association.
