Buildings Razed By Fire In Nagasaki
Rec. 7 p.m. TOKIO. May 7. A fire that broke out before dawn today in historic Nagasaki city razed the Nagasaki Prefectural Government office, the Nagasaki headquarters of the police, and offices of the Prefectural Education Committee. All the buildings were two-storeyed wooden structures built after the atom bomb explosion. The fire is estimated to have caused damage of 200,000.000 yen (£200.000) and is believed to have been caused by faulty electric wiring.
