Rockefeller Foundation’s Gifts For Human Benefit
Rec. 8 p.m. NEW YORK, May 7. The Rockefeller Foundation has given away 438,000,000 dollars since its formation 37 years ago. The foundation’s annual report, released today, showed that last year’s allocations totalled 10,276.525 dollars. The foundation’s total gifts represent only half the total amount which the Rockefeller family has given for human benefit since the late John D. Rockefeller amassed one of the world’s greatest fortunes. It is estimated that the family’s contributions to research and development of public health, medical, social and natural sciences throughout the world now total 1.000,000,000 dollars.
