New Bofors Anti-Aircraft Gun
NZPA—Copyright STOCKHOLM, May 7. The Swedish Defence Minister. Mr Alan Vougt, yesterday announced the production of a new Bofors anti-air-craft gun capable of hitting planes at 40.000 feet. He added that Bofors also have produced a shell with a proximity fuse made to explode near the target by radar. The fuse is similar to that made by the British and the Americans during the war.
