In a closely-contested match in the Waitaki Rugby Sub-union’s competition, played at Duntroon on Saturday, Duntroon beat Omarama by 11 points to 8. Duntroon's success was due to the fact that it made the better use of the opportunities offering. Omarama opened its scoring with a goal from a penalty, kicked by Martin.
