Trophy To Mr M. Hay The Oamaru Homing Pigeon Club's young-bird racing season was completed on Saturday, when a three-bird team race was flown from Ashburton. The birds were liberated at 10-minute intervals from six lofts by Mr F. Miles, and Mr M. Hay’s birds, which have flown consistently throughout the series, recorded a further win. to secure the trophy presented by Mr A. E. North for Saturday’s race. D. Mcßride, who has in past years proved to be one of the most successful pen flyers of the club, was placed second. Results:— M. Hay’s All Alone, Ambition, Viking (velocity 1163 yards per minute). 1; D Mcßride's Lightning, John Bull, Dictator (1143), 2; Mahan Brothers’ Red Indian. Magpie, Fly Pilot (1118), 3; G.
