BELOW ALLOCATION
Consumption Of Power Once again the consumption o£ electricity in the Waitaki Electric Power Board's area for the week ended May 7 was below the allocation. The allocation was 570,660 units and the number of units used was 568.470 —1920 under those allocated. The percentage used was 99.66 or, 0.34 under the allocation. The allocation for the coming week with the I2i per cent, cut imposed is down to 502.635 units, which means that approximately 66,000 units will have to be saved on the 568.470 used last week for the area to remain within its allocation.
