HOMES ENTERED OUTSIDE CITY
The series of house breakings which have occurred in Dunedin and its suburbs during the last few months, continued last week-end. This time, a house in Fairfield was robbed of a golden sovereign and a number of half sovereigns while its owners were absent. A home in Gordon road, Mosgield, yielded nothing to the intruders, who, however, left an obvious trail behind their search for money. The owners of this house think they disturbed the intruders at their work when they returned, for they thought they heard noises and later found the mark of footprints outside a window. The Post Office photo-telegram service has now been extended to include Southern Rhodesia.
