Otago Nominations THIRTEEN PLAYERS NAMED Thirteen nominations have been made by the Otago selectors —Messrs C. K. Saxton, A. E. Marslin and R. Nieper—for the All Black trials to be held at Wellington on May 16. Eleven of these players have previously represented New Zealand—eight in the South African tour last year, and three against Australia in the Dominion. The nominations are:— BACKS G. J. T. Moore (University A), fullW. A. Meates (Maniototo), wing three-quarter. R. H. Bell (Pirates), wing threequarter. R. R. Elvidge (Union), second fiveeighth. L. S. Haig (South Otago), first fiveeighth. FORWARDS K. L. Skinner (Pirates), front row prop. R. A. Dalton (Pirates), front row prop. N. L. Wilson (Zingari-Richmond), hooker. L. R. Harvey (Vincent), lock. H. W. Wilson (Maniototo), lock. J. R. McNab (South Otago), side row. W. A. Lunn (Vincent), side row. P. A. Johnstone (Taieri), back row. Meates, Elvidge, Skinner, Dalton, N. L. Wilson, Harvey, McNab and Johnstone were members of last year’s team in South Africa, and Moore, H. W. Wilson and Lunn played for New Zealand against Australia.
