CHANGE OF NAME
The Tramways Union Industrial Correspondent. WELLINGTON, May 7. The New Zealand Tramways Authorities Employees’ Union, in amendments to its rules, has changed its name to the New Zealand Tramways and Public Passenger Transport Authorities Employees’ Union. This change has been made with the purpose of ensuring that when any authority makes a complete change-over from trams to buses union membership will be retained in the Tramways Union. The change has been made after consultation with the New Zealand Drivers’ Federation.
