WIN FOR TIMARU
Defence Rifle Shooting An inter-club shoot between the Timaru and Oamaru Defence Rifle Clubs at 300, 500 and 600 yards was fired on the Federal range on Saturday. A changing light and tricky wind made shooting difficult, but in spite of this. J. Gibson (Oamaru) shot well to score 97. The match was won by Timaru by 1077 po.nts to 1050. Scores were:— Timaru: E.
