Yankee Tournament R. Cambridge And J. Galland Successful R. Cambridge and J. Galland won the Yankee tournament at Logan Park tennis courts on Saturday with an unbeaten record at the end of the day’s play. The tournament was run after the style of the McMillan and Falconer Cup contests. Cambridge plays a game suited to such tournaments and he has been prominent in Falconer Cup matches in the last, few seasons, having been successful in winning the trophy on one pccasion. On Saturday he was ably assisted by his partner. J. Ferguson and Miss H. Gray both played well and appeared possible finalists but lost a close match 28—30 to R. Morrison and K. De Courcy. The latter pair again proved a very solid combination and only accepted defeat in the final. G. Shaw and A.
