FISHING PROSPECTS
The Catlins river is clear and is in perfect order for fly _ fishing, according to a report received by the Otago Acclimatisation Society. Mahinerangi Dam is still full, and fishing conditions are generally quite good. The Mimihau and Wyndham rivers are slightly up. The Mataura River is falling but is still slightly discoloured. The Owaka, Waipahi, Pomahaka and Shag rivers are all low and weedy.
