AIR LINKS WITH NEW ZEALAND OFFICER ARRIVES FOR TALKS PA AUCKLAND. Jan. 17. Plans tor the French airline. Air France, to extend its network to the Pacific have brought M. Michel Gautier 30-year-old internal relations officer, to Auckland for talks with Tasman Empire Airways and the National Airwavs Corporation. . M. Gautier arrived today by flying boat from Australia. Three months ago Air France extended its Saigon line to Brisbane via Batavia and Darwin. Next it carried the line to New Caledonia. The ultmate aim is to run the line from New Caledonia through New Zealand to Fiji and the Society Islands. From New Caledonia a line will go to the New Hebrides.
