Provision has been made for divisions in the Hastings Novice Stakes and the Juvenile Handicap on the opening day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's summer meeting at Hastings tomorrow. The track is in good order and unless rain falls the going will be firm and fast. Selections are:— 11.30: Otatara High-weight.—Tussock, Carnforth, Robert Keith. 12.15: Havelock Hack Handicap,—lnfinity, Peaseblossom, Viva La France. 1.0: Hastings Novice Stakes First division: Dr Fred, Malicious. Second division: Claymore, Nigger Brown. 1.50: New Year Handicap.—His Nibs, Super Snipe, Welcome Guest. 2.35: Juvenile Handicap.—First division: Random Harvest, Coppice. Second division: Broomford, Hazaan. 3.20: Waipatu Hack Handicap.—Dennis O’Kelly, Bursar. Almora. 4.5: Stewards' Handicap.—False Step, Rhonddavale, Phalamint. 4.55: Pokowhai Hack Handicap.—Gold Robin, True Boy, Robin’s Song.
