Fields of handy size for the course are engaged on the opening day of the Wairarapa Racing Club’s summer meeting at. Tauherenikau tomorrow. Provision has been made for two divisions in the Waiohine Stakes for maidens. The course is in good order and will be fast unless there Is rain. Selections are:— 11.0: Russell High-weight.—Peria Prince, Grey Arch. Morea Fox. 11.45: Waiohine Stakes.—First division: Ambergris, Urenui’s Gift. Second division: Anson, Chord. 12.30: Papawai Hack Handicap.—Princess Diane, Chip, Super Duke. 1.15: Wairarapa Cup.—Liebestraum, Renowned. Royal Victor. 2.0: Bidwill Nursery Handicap.—Apex, Suppression, Britovite. 2.45: Wharekaka Hack Handicap.—Sea Shanty, Sonata, Brenlock. 3.30: Wardell Handicap.—Faithful Pal, New Deer. Coshona. 4.15: Tawaha Hack Handicap.—Chip. Autograph, Brightness.
