MEMORIAL WINDOWS

Unveiled In Wesley Church

On Christmas Day two stained glass windows were unveiled at the evening service at Wesley Church, Oamaru. The windows were the gift of Miss L. Lane, who unveiled them as a memorial to her parents and other members of the family. The late Norman and Katherine Lane and family were members of the Wesley Church for many years. Mr Lane was an original trustee of the present church, and gave outstanding service over a long period of years. His family was also closely associated with the youth work of the church as teachers in the Sunday School The memorial was dedicated by the Rev. I. K. Hopper, who paid a tribute to the pioneers of the church work and to the Lane family in particular. The work of Mr J.
