SHOT IN CHEST
YOUTH’S SEVERE INJURY PA WESTPORT, Dec. 27. An accident of which full particulars are not yet available occurred today in the bush three miles from the main road near Giles Cyeek, which has resulted in a youth, “ Buster ” Gibson, aged 17, of Westport, being in a critical condition from a shot in the chest from a .22 rifle. It appears that Gibson, with two other youths of the same age, were on a shooting expedition and the rifle was accidentally discharged when it was being inspected as they were sheltering from the rain under a thick clump of bush.
