FRENCH NATIONALS FOUND GUILTY TERMS OF IMPRISONMENT NZPA—Reuter—Copyright WARSAW Dec. 23. The military court at Wroclaw found four French nationals and two Poles guilty of spying for the French Intelligence Service and imposed prison sentences of up to nine years. The court sentenced Yvonne Bassaler, 29-year-old French Maquis heroine, and Vazyl Bukison, 24-year-old French citizen of Russian origin, to nine years’ imprisonment each. Joseph Feldeisen, a 50-year-old French workman, was sentenced to eight years with his property confiscated. A Frenchman, Albert Hoffman, was sentenced to seven years, also ■vyith property confiscated. Jan Kubisiak, a French-born Polish citizen, was sentenced to nine years’ imprisonment, with the loss of civil rights for four years, and Wilhelm Hiid to' six years’ imprisonment. The French defendants were charged with having, accepted money from French officials in Poland to collect information and help to plan industrial sabotage. , . Hild and Kubisiak were accused of working for a French spy network.
