FIRE CALLS
The Oamaru Volunteer Fire Brigade was called out on Sunday afternoon to attend a fire at the corner of Ettrick and Thames streets. No damage was done to the house, but a small electric range, which was the cause of the outbreak, was completely destroyed. A false alarm was also answered at 2.10 yesterday morning.
