Mr and Mrs R. C. B. Greenslade will be visitors to Christchurch this week-end. Mrs Arthur Barnett, Alva Street, will leave for Christchurch to-day.
Mrs T. McKibbin will leave Dunedin on Monday to take up residence in Wellington.
Mrs David Solomon will be a week-end visitor to Christchurch. Mr and Mrs F. A. Seward, of Dorset, England, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Bruce Smith. Dr B. E. Miles and Mrs Miles will leave Dunedin to-morrow to join the Aorangi. Before returning to London, Dr and Mrs Miles will spend three months in the United States. Mrs W. Stuvetant, of Hamilton, will be the guest of honour at the annual party this afternoon of the St. Andrew’s Collegiate School Ex-pupils' Club.
At the executive meeting of the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Association on Wednesday, Lady Sidey. who was celebrating her eightieth birthday on that day, was presented with a bouquet by Dr E. S. McKinnon on behalf of the executive. Guests welcomed at the Dunedin Travel Club on Wednesday were Mrs H. L. Reid (Balclutha), Mr and Mrs J. Wilson (Whakatane), Mrs Gilmour (Auckland), Miss Christine Jefferson (Hamilton), Miss M. Lavender (Hobart), Mrs D. E. Carter (Waianawa), and members of the ’’Annie Get Your Gun ” Company. The speaker was Mr J. M. Ritchie and the chairman Mr W. R. Sinclair.
