INTERCHANGE FAVOURED
Australian And New Zealand Swimmers
Rec. 8 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 25. The secretary of the Australian Swimming Union, Mr W. Verge Phillips, said to-night that Australia would favour an annual interchange of visits between Australian and New Zealand swimmers. He was commenting on an Auckland report that the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Council intended to open negotiations for such visits. He added that such an interchange of visits would raise the standards of swimming, especially in New Zealand.
