WAITAKI-IMVERSITY MATCH

The annual cricket match between UniversUv (Dunedin) and the Waitaki Boys High School first eleven was played at the Waitaki Boys; High School on Monday Included in the University team were several New Zealand University plavers and R. T. Hunt, the Otago Plunket Shield player. Moir batted well |pr 18 not out and Geddes, with 38, was Waitaki’s second-top scorer. Dhyey, with 63, headed the University batting. It was generally accepted by the playeis that the game had finished on an exciting note in a draw, with 243 runs each. The score book shows totals of 243, but a check ot the additions gives Waitaki only *.42 iuns, thus leaving University one run ahead.
