British Finance For Film On Life Of Christ
AP—NZPA—Copyright VATICAN CITY, Oct. 13. Vatican radio reported to-day that Sir Stafford Cripps had approved the exportation of £50,000 to finance a film on the life of Christ to be made in France. The report said the film would be edited in four languages for world-wide distribution and that all the actors would be anonymous. The part of Christ would be played by a young Frenchman-
